STILLWATER, Okla. - Mizzou's No. 2 ranking may not last longer than a week.

Freshman Le'Bryan Nash scored a career-high 27 points to lead the Oklahoma State Cowboys (10-10, 3-4) to a 79-72 victory over the No. 2 Missouri Tigers (18-2, 5-2).  The upset excited the OSU student section, rushing the floor.

"Obviously, it was a tough loss for us," said Missouri Head Coach Frank Haith.  "We allowed Oklahoma State to dictate the tempo of the game in how they were running thier offense, and I thought too many loose balls."

The Tigers opened the second-half with a 19-10 run to erase a 37-36 halftime deficit.  The lead did not last long.  Nash led the Cowboys comeback with a 17-4 run.  Oklahoma State took the lead back with 3:23 to go in the game.

"He (Nash) picked out good spots to make shots that he knows he can make," said Missouri center Ricardo Ratliffe.  "He's 6'7", 230 and he's making three-pointers, you can tell he's confident."

Ratliffe followed up his Big 12 Conference Player of the Week honor with 25 points, grabbing 12 rebounds.  Marcus Denmon added 17 points.

The Tigers return to the Mizzou Arena Saturday night to play the Texas Tech Red Raiders.  Tip-off is at 12:30 p.m. on the Big 12 Network.
