FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. - Maybe there is a little "magic" this season at Bud Walton Arena.

Arkansas (15-5, 3-2) overcame a dreadful shooting night, rallying to beat the Auburn Tigers (12-8, 2-4) 56-53 Wednesday night at Bud Walton Arena.  The win improves the Hogs to 15-0 at home this season, the school's best home start since the 1998-1999 season.

The Razorbacks shot 4-28 from the field over the first 20 minutes.  The Hogs had just 13 points going into the final minutes of the first-half.  Auburn did not shoot much better, but still took a 22-19 lead into halftime.

The Tigers extended the lead to 37-30 midway through the second-half.  The Hogs then found their offense, going on a 17-6 run.  They never trailed after that.  Arkansas shot 55-percent from the field in the second-half.

Arkansas's defense forced 17 Auburn turnovers.  The Hogs also recorded 13 steals.

BJ Young led a balanced attack for the Razorbacks with 11 points.  Fellow freshman Rashad Madden added ten points.

Auburn's Kenny Gabriel scored 13 points and grabbed eight rebounds.

Arkansas will play the next three of four Southeastern Conference games on the road, beginning Saturday at Alabama.
