COLUMBIA, Mo. - Mizzou's program is in the college basketball spotlight this weekend.

The No. 5 Missouri Tigers (17-1, 4-1) will meet the No. 3 Baylor Bears (17-1, 4-1) Saturday afternoon in Waco.  Tip-off is at 1:00 p.m. on ESPN.  This is the fifth top five match-up in the program's history since 1990.

News and Notes:

*At the Charity Stripe: Mizzou made a season-high 27 free throws in the win against Texas A&M Monday night.

*Country's Best: Senior Kim English lead the nation in 3-point field goal percentage, making 51 percent of the long-range shots.

*Balance Beam: Six different Tigers have led Mizzou in scoring the last seven games.

*Historic Game: This is the Big 12 Conference's first top-five match-up that does not include either Texas or Kansas.

Coach Frank Haith Said It:

"They're all big games," said Haith on the Baylor game.  "What you cannot do is put more emphasis on one than the other."
