MOUNT VERNON, Mo. --- The Missouri Attorney General's Office sued a composting business near Verona and got a judge to order it to close, at least temporarily.  State investigators say the owners of Black Oak Organics are violating the state's clean water law.

DNR inspections found storm water becomes contaminated with organic matter when the water flows over the compost site and into a nearby creek.
