SPRINGFIELD, Mo. -- A man featured this month as a Crime Stoppers fugitive of the week was arrested by U.S. marshals on Thursday. Crime Stoppers says Charles Berry's arrest was not the result of a tip, however.
Berry, 41, was wanted for a probation violation with an original charge of aggravated assault with a weapon, distribution of a controlled substance, and tampering with a motor vehicle.
Crime Stoppers takes information about drug dealers, wanted felons, and all other felony crimes. It pays rewards of up to $1,000 in cash for information that leads to the arrest and the filing of charges against people involved in felonies.
