COLUMBIA, Mo. - Mizzou sent an early message to the rest Big 12 Conference.
Kim English scored 23 points and grabbed nine rebounds to lead the No. 7 Missouri Tigers (14-0, 1-0) to a 87-49 win over the Oklahoma Sooners (10-3, 0-1). Senior guard Marcus Denmon added 20 points.
Mizzou raced out to a 43-25 halftime lead. The Tigers shot 59 percent from the field. Oklahoma shot only 33 percent from the field.
Missouri's undefeated start is the best since the 1981-1982 season. The Tigers will play No. 23 Kansas State in Manhattan Saturday. Tip-off is at 12:30 p.m. on the Big 12 Network.
