SPRINGFIELD, Mo. -- A close call for a Greene County family, after bullet shot through their house.  It happened by Overhill Park- near West Bypass and Grand, just outside the Springfield city limits last night.  Deputies found bullet holes in the exterior of a home and began searching for two men thought to be responsible.  Authorities said they're not sure what the suspects intended, but family members told KY3 News the men were target practicing.

Lt. Christian Conrad says, "anytime, anywhere in the county, we are told that there are gunshots being fired, multiple gunshots being fired, we want to treat that as serious as necessary and it is a show of force and let citizens know we are here to protect them"

Deputies found the guns and one of the guys who was taken in.  The second man has not been caught.  No word on what charges may be filed.
