Tips for Zipping up Your Christmas Dinner Ham

Ham is a traditional dish for many Christmas dinners. If you're looking to zip it up, we've got help in Taste of the Ozarks. KY3 Chef Nicole Young joined Paul Adler this morning.

Ingredients:

*4-5 lb cured ham

*1 cup brown sugar

*1tbsp allspice

*2 tbsp minced garlic

*Salt and pepper to taste

*1/4'cup soy sauce

*1tsp cinnamon

Directions: Combine the brown sugar, allspice, garlic, salt and pepper, soy sauce and cinnamon in a bowl.

Score the skin of the ham. Spread seasoning over ham and bake uncovered in a 350 degree oven for thirty to forty minutes.

Remove from oven let rest for ten minutes. Slice and serve. Recipe serves 6-8.
