With only wins over Kennesaw State and William & Mary, the Missouri Tigers didn't do much last week to 'wow' voters in the AP mens' college basketball poll.
But with the Xavier Musketeers--outmanned by suspensions after a bench-clearing brawl with Cincinnati--getting blown out at home by 24 points to Oral Roberts, the Tigers were able to jump up a spot in the poll from No. 10 to No. 9.
Mizzou's status as an undefeated, Top 10 team is on the line Thursday night going up against Illinois in the annual Braggin' Rights game in St Louis.
Illinois lost its first game of the season Saturday to UNLV. The Illini are ranked at No. 25 in this week's poll.
