Newburg man dies in accident

PHELPS COUNTY -- A late-night crash in Phelps County has killed a man from Newburg.

Troopers say Richard Cardin lost control of his pickup on Highway 2, near Jerome.
    
It left the roadway, hit several trees and a sign.
     
Cardin was partially thrown from the truck. He was 44.
