Rogersville woman killed in crash in Springfield

SPRINGFIELD, Mo-- Police are trying to figure out why a woman from Rogersville made a sudden turn into the path of another car in the construction zone east of highway 65.  40-year-old Ranee Porter was killed in the crash just before 11:30pm Friday.
  The other driver, a 53-year-old woman also from Rogersville is hospitalized with non-life threatening injuries.  
     The road was down to one lane for most of the overnight hours while police investigated the crash.
