SPRINGFIELD, Mo. -- The man accused of holding up a Springfield bank will appear in court this afternoon, but not on the robbery charges. Court documents show 21-year-old Kwanell Allen will be arraigned in Greene County on illegal weapons charges from back in August last year.
Today's court appearance comes two days after he was arrested for allegedly robbing this Great Southern bank on East Kearney at gunpoint on Saturday. Investigators say he swiped nearly 21,000 dollars from the tellers.
