US Justice Department reached $295,000 settlement with subsidized housing complex in Rolla

A lawsuit alleged that a former manager at Forum Manor engaged in sexual harassment, discrimination, retaliation, intimidation and coercion against current and prospective tenants.

ROLLA, Mo. -- The US Justice Department has reached a 295,000 dollar settlement with operators of a subsidized housing complex in Rolla over complaints of sexual harassment, race and sex discrimination.  A lawsuit alleged that a former manager at Forum Manor engaged in sexual harassment, discrimination, retaliation, intimidation and coercion against current and prospective tenants.  

Three renters will split 260,000 dollars, and 35,000 will be rebated to the federal government.
