12-hour forecast
VERY WARM START
Temperatures early this morning were warmer than highs from yesterday. Winds will be strong at times again today with southwest gusts to 30 mph possible. High temperatures this afternoon are expected to warm into the low 70s for the majority of the Ozarks under partly cloudy skies.
RAIN CHANCES FOR SOME
Conditions will stay very mild overnight with lows in the mid and upper 50s. Cloud cover is going to increase by tomorrow as a front drops into southern Missouri. There is a chance for some rain showers near the front which will be in the southeastern Ozarks. Rain is also possible on Tuesday to the southeast. Precipitation chances for the rest of the Ozarks are very low.
LONG-RANGE FORECAST
An upper level area of low pressure will move over the region by Wednesday which will end the rain chances. Cooler air will move in behind that system so highs midweek will only be in the 50s. A warm up is expected by next weekend with more rain chances into the week of Thanksgiving.
