Missouri Tigers: Frank Haith earns win number one at Mizzou over Southeast Missouri State University

COLUMBIA, Mo. - Frank Haith begins his reign at Mizzou the way he wanted, with a victory.

Senior Ricardo Ratliffe scored 20 points and grabbed eight rebounds to lead the No. 25 Missouri Tigers to a 83-68 victory over the Southeast Missouri State at the Mizzou Arena Friday night. 

The Tigers had to earn the win early.  Mizzou jumped out to a 24-17 lead midway through the first-half.  The Red Hawks responded over the next five minutes, using a 15-8 run for a six-point lead.  Missouri regained the lead 38-36 at halftime.

The Tigers used a 19-9 lead over the first seven minutes of the second-half to take control of the game.  Senior guards Marcus Denmon and Kim English added 20 and 19 points in the win.

Missouri returns to action Monday night at the Mizzou Arena against Merceer in the opening round of the CBE Classic.
