BRANSON, Mo. -- As a follow-up to a study session on October 20, the Branson Board of Aldermen will be conducting a public forum on a proposed city ordinance that limits the sale of products containing ephedrine or pseudoephedrine during its meeting on Monday, November 7, 7 p.m., in Council Chambers of Branson City Hall.

The proposed ordinance would require a prescription in order to purchase any over-the-counter product containing ephedrine or pseudoephedrine, key ingredients in making methamphetamine.   Citizens will have the opportunity to comment and ask questions about a proposed ordinance during the public forum, which will be near the beginning of the Board's agenda.   No actions to adopt an ordinance will take place during this meeting.  However, direction to city staff related to this ordinance may take place following the forum.
