SPRINGFIELD, Mo. -- Springfield city utilities will take the next step toward building a water tower near a neighborhood on the southeast side of the city.
Many homeowners are not happy with the proposal to build the one million gallon tower near highway 65 and Evans road.
CU says growth in that area has put a major strain on water pressure. A board committee will consider the plan tomorrow afternoon, if approved it will go before the full CU board on Thursday
