BOLIVAR, Mo. — The trial of a Bolivar man, accused of killing another person with a broken bottle, is scheduled to begin Monday in Boone County.
John Loomis is charged with first-degree murder for allegedly killing 19-year-old Chris Cornell in October 2007 following an argument over money.
Josiellena Schaefer was convicted of helping Loomis dump the body; she was sentenced to four years probation.
