Good morning. Showers and storms are already going this morning over parts of the Ozarks in response to an upper level low just to our west. More energy will approach later in the day, along with a cold front. Shear will increase a bit and there may be enough to create a few severe storms particularly later this afternoon. I don't expect widespread severe weather though. A cold front will move over the area tonight and bring clearing skies late tonight. Highs will vary today according to clouds and rain, and may range from the upper 60s to upper 70s. Thursday will be breezy and a little cooler but warmer air will return just in time for the weekend. Our next cold front looks to be around Monday night. A shot of very cool air will follow this for Tuesday and Wednesday of next week, and it may bring our first widespread frost.
