MORE RAIN EXPECTED
Some rain showers were ongoing at update time for parts of the Ozarks. Other locations had seen a bit of sunshine today and had already warmed into the 70s by noon. Further development of rain and a few thunderstorms are possible through the afternoon and most spots will see limited sunshine. Highs this afternoon will be in the mid 70s in locations that have some sunshine but those that have more of a steady rain and cloudy skies will stay a bit cooler.
A FEW SEVERE STORMS?
Thunderstorms are possible tomorrow ahead of a cold front. A few storms could become strong or severe and contain strong wind gusts and some hail. Widespread severe weather, however, is not expected. The cold front will pass through the Ozarks by early Thursday morning and clear out the rain and clouds. Highs will be near 70 degrees Thursday afternoon while lows overnight cool into the 40s for a few nights.
GREAT WEEKEND FORECAST
A warming trend is expected by the weekend when an upper level ridge looks to build over the region. As a result, we once again have a fantastic forecast through the weekend with mostly sunny skies and highs in the upper 70s.
