Strong Storms Possible
One round of rain has moved out of the Ozarks. Weather Watchers are reporting anywhere from a few tenths of an inch to over an inch and a half of much needed moisture. After the first round of rain ended the sun broke through the clouds and destabilized the atmosphere. A second round of storms is now forming in western Missouri. A few of these storms could be severe producing small to moderate hail and brief gusty winds. Once the sun sets the storms should weaken some but may not fully end until later tonight. Strong northwest winds will develop later tonight and usher in cool dry air for Thursday. Lows the temperatures will drop to around 50 and recover to the low 70s under a sunny sky.
