Stuck In A (Good) Rut

Good morning.  Our weather is now officially stuck in a rut.  A large storm system will move onto the Pacific coast in the next few days and then dig southeast and strengthen a bit.  As this occurs high pressure in the middle and upper atmosphere will build on the storm's eastern side, effectively blocking its eastward progress.  The result for the Ozarks and the central US will be a continuation of warm, dry weather.  Highs will be near 80 the rest of this week with lows in the low to mid 50s.  I don't see any rain for us, though it may get relatively close by this weekend.
