Cooler Weekend Weather

We had another warm day across the Ozarks today.  Temperatures topped out in the low 80s in most location.  This afternoon, a dry cold front is working it's way through the Ozarks and behind it winds are fairly gusty out of the northwest.  We won't feel the effects of this cooler air until tonight when we're expecting a clear sky.  Overnight low temperatures will dip down into the mid 40s to low 50s.  A high pressure system is sliding in behind that cold frontal passage and will help to keep temperatures cool for the next couple of days.  High temperatures tomorrow may not get out of the upper 60s in many locations.  We'll remain cool through the weekend until the high pressure system moves eastward and then our temperature will be on the rise for the start of the workweek.

A Stretch of Dry Days

Starting on Sunday, an upper level ridge will begin to build in from the west.  This will allow our temperatures during the workweek to trend upward and approach the 80 degree mark again by midweek.  This ridge will also keep us dry for the next several days.  Our rain chances look very low until the end of next week.

Have a great Thursday,
