Unidentified body turns up in field in Camden County

CAMDENTON, Mo. -- The Camden County Sheriff's Department is investigating the death of an unidentified man whose body was found near an open field southeast of Camdenton.  A property owner found the man's body early Wednesday afternoon.

Capt. Kelly Luttrell says the body shows no obvious signs of trauma or injury.  An autopsy is scheduled for Friday.  The body was just east of Ha Ha Tonka State Park along a gravel road close near Native Drive, off Dry Ridge Road north of Dry Hollow Road, which intersects Missouri 5.
