“It’s just been a big circle. It went from here to Webster County. We recovered one of the stolen beds in Webster County,” said Degase.
The sheriff says the ringleader appears to be Haynes.
“Every avenue we went down, every person we talked to, it all came back to Adam Haynes,” said Degase.
With thefts spanning several years and several counties, Degase is confident the ring they’ve discovered is not yet complete.
“I’d say there are probably others we’ll be questioning in the near future, and I’d say there will probably be additional charges,” he said. “If you’ve purchased anything from them, give us a call, give Webster County a call. We would definitely be interested in what they sold you. There’s a good chance it is stolen. If you bought it from them, we’re going to be listing you as a victim on the report as well. So, if there’s any compensation through the courts, we’re going to do our best to get you your money back.
