Branson Fiddle Festival ends its three day run on Sunday

The event involved the entire downtown district

BRANSON, Mo. -- Some old-time music, ringing through the streets of Downtown Branson.  The annual fiddle festival started Friday and wrapped up today, featuring dozens of musicians vying for the top prize - $1000 cash.

The event involved the entire downtown district and included classes on fiddle making, playing, and other things to keep the whole family busy.

Brenda Meadows said, "We do this because, we love the history here, and part of our history is the music, anyone who comes to Branson - it's about the live music capital right, well these are some of the up-and-comings who can teach the up-and-comings"

This is the 23rd year for the fiddle festival in Branson.
