GREEN FOREST, Ark. — A memorial service is this week for a local Navy SEAL killed in action last weekend.
Family and friends will honor Senior Chief Tommy Ratzlaff on Tuesday at 10 a.m. at the First Assembly of God Church in Green Forest.
SCPO Ratzlaff was one of 30 U.S. troops killed when a Chinook helicopter was shot down in Afghanistan on August 6.
The 34-year-old will be buried at Arlington National Cemetery. He leaves behind a wife, two sons and a daughter on-the-way along with family in Green Forest.
