SPRINGFIELD, Mo. -- City police are looking for a man who shot a store clerk in the face during an attempted robbery on Thursday night. It happened at the Scoops novelty store on North Glenstone Avenue.
Officers say the robber walked into the back door and shot the clerk. An ambulance took the clerk to a hospital with what are described as serious but not life-threatening injuries.
