FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. - Will the Arkansas Razorbacks take the next step in the Bobby Petrino-era.
The Hogs ranked 14th in the preseason USA Today coaches's poll. The Oklahoma Sooners earned the top spot. The Southeastern Conference has a total of eight teams ranked in the top 25, five from the SEC-West. Arkansas will play six teams ranked in the preseason poll, including a non-conference date in October against no. 9 Texas A&M.
The Hogs finished the 2010 season 10-3, earning a Sugar Bowl bid. It finished last season ranked 12th.
The Razorbacks open the 2011 season September 3 against Missouri State.
