CLIMAX SPRINGS, Mo -- Voters again rejected taxes increases to finance a new school building.
In unofficial results from Tuesday, 842 voters cast ballots against the proposal; 329 voters voted for the plan.
The district was asking voters to approve a 94 cent increase in the property tax levy through the year 2030. The additional revenue would have paid for construction of a new school building for the district.
Voters rejected similar proposals in April 2006 and April 2011.
