COLORADO SPRINGS, Co. - A pair of Missouri Tigers basketball stars hope to add a trip to China to their busy off-season program.
Seniors Marcus Denmon and Kim English are competing for a chance to represent the USA at the World University Games in China next month. 22 of the top college basketball players are training at the U.S. Olympic facility in Colorado Springs this week. USA Basketball committee led by Syracuse Head Coach Jim Boeheim will select a dozen of them.
Purdue Head Coach Matt Painter will lead the team in China. Butler's Brad Stevens and Tennessee's Cuonzo Martin will be his assistants.
