KY3 News will add 7 a.m. and 9 p.m. newscasts on The Ozarks CW, beginning Aug. 22.

KY3 will produce a 30-minute newscast, Monday through Sunday, at 9 p.m. on the Ozarks CW.  KY3 News at Nine will be anchored by Lisa Rose and Ethan Forhetz, with Chief Meteorologist Ron Hearst and Sports Director Ned Reynolds.

The newscast will be a new choice for news at 9 p.m.., featuring local news from around the Ozarks, dependable forecasts and severe weather coverage, sports, and important national stories.

“It’s all about providing more choice and greater convenience.  Now viewers have even more options for getting local news and weather when they want it," said KY3 News Director Scott Brady.

Ozarks Today, the Ozarks top-rated morning news, will expand to a third hour, airing Monday through Friday, 7-8 a.m., on The Ozarks CW.  The newscast will be anchored by Maria Neider and Paul Adler, with KY3 Storm Team Meteorologist Brandon Beck.

“KY3 has earned a reputation for outstanding journalism, dependable weather coverage, and excellent community service.  It seems natural to extend KY3 News to The Ozarks CW.  As the pace of our lives grows even faster, access to timely and accurate information becomes more critical.  That’s why we continue to expand our news and weather coverage across all of our channels, on-air, online, and via mobile devices," said KY3 President and General Manager Brian McDonough.
