So Much for Cooler Weather

High temperatures quickly moved back into the 90s today.  A few scattered storms formed this afternoon but the latest radar trends show the rain ending already.  A few pop up storms are possible each day for the next week but not many people will see rain.

Hot gets Hotter this Weekend

The center of the high pressure ridge is located in western Texas.  The satellite shows the center is now beginning to move north and expand its reach into the plains.  This will create sunny hot and mostly dry conditions for much of the next seven to ten days.  Highs will reach the mid and upper 90s with 100s possible for western and northern counties.  The coolest weather will be found in south central Missouri and north central Arkansas.
