Reservations being taken for deer hunt in Springfield city limits

The Missouri Department of Conservation (MDC) manages the hunt in the city of Springfield and began taking reservations on June 30th.

   Managed urban deer hunt reservations are being taken for those interested in hunting deer in Springfield city limits.  The Missouri Department of Conservation (MDC) manages the urban hunt and began taking reservations on June 30th.  They will continue taking reservations until August 15th.

   The MDC says some important steps must be followed for registration.  First, visit the MDC Managed Deer Hunt website and complete the application process in order to obtain a confirmation number.  More information regarding regulations and the selection process pertaining to the managed urban deer hunt is available for interested parties on the MDC website.  For more information or questions, please contact the Missouri Department of Conservation at 417-895-6881 ext 247.
