DADE COUNTY -- A Springfield man has drowned in Stockton Lake in Dade County.
The Water Patrol says the body of Emanel Meadows was pulled from about 20 feet of water Saturday evening.
A few hours before that he tried to swim across the lake, but went under not far from shore.
He was 21.
