JOPLIN, Mo. — Another victim of the Joplin tornado has died.
Officials say 49-year-old James Cookerly died from tornado-related injuries, bringing the death toll to 154. The EF-5 tornado that tore through the city on May 22 is the deadliest, single-tornado in more than 60 years.
Meantime, the CDC says they've found a dozen cases of a rare, deadly fungal infection in victims following the disaster.
