STORMS MAY LINGER AROUND TONIGHT
Storms have focused on a slow-to-no moving frontal boundary hovering near the Missouri-Arkansas state line. The zone of low pressure associated with that frontal boundary will focus storm development in the same place tonight... but expect that to help initiate a storm complex over Central and Eastern Kansas tonight. As that complex moves East, many in extreme Western Missouri may wake to storms on Sunday.UNSETTLED SUNDAYAs that front creeps Northward during your Sunday, rain and thunder will have an opportunity to form along the boundary. This process may take a bit of a break midday, but not entirely. Expect more of a storm development period in the afternoon... when the peak heat of the day works with the unstable situation to create a few towering clouds which might include large hail and gusty winds.
Enjoy your weekend, be safe and do some good,
