STORMS RETURN!
A cold front offers the hope of rain in the Ozarks after more than a week of hot, dry... but muggy... weather. The focus for storms will develop through the afternoon, but really open up this evening with a risk of large hail and gusty straight line winds. The most likely area for this to happen is just South of I-44 to the Lake of the Ozarks region and Mid-Missouri.COOLER WEEKEND AHEAD
The front looks to settle up along the Missouri-Arkansas line. As such, the focus for Saturday storms will be a bit South of US 60 and closer to US 62 in Arkansas. North winds for some of us mean highs ONLY in the mid 80s this time... but those on the other side of the front should expect highs nearing 90º with higher humidity. The front moves North again Sunday, once again shifting the focus for storms into Missouri and upping the daytime high just a bit. That trend continues into the workweek.
Enjoy your weekend, be safe and do some good,
