STORM TRACK SHIFTS NORTH; SO GOES THE HEAT AND HUMIDITY

The upper-level wind pattern is moving North for Summer effects to be felt in the Ozarks.  Is this a permanent seasonal shift?  Probably not... but it will stay intact for the week.As such, expect to find highs in the mid 80s to nearly 90º.  That's fine on its own... but you'll also have a heapin' handful of humidity on the side.  Plan for it to feel hotter than what shows on the ole bank thermometer.
SLIGHT CHANCE OF STORMS NORTH OF I-44A cap, or lid, sits on the lower atmosphere overnight.  But if it breaks in a place or two, a quick developing severe storm may become possible.  Most will stay mainly cloudy, warm and humid with lows in the mid 60s.
SUNDAY AND MEMORIAL DAYA mainly sunny and hazy end to the 3-day weekend will be found in the Ozarks.  Expect both days to feel Summer-like as we unofficially begin the season.  Pools should have no trouble opening, though the water may still be a bit cool.If you're out and about, whether in the Disaster Zone in Jopin or your own backyard, make sure you're drinking plenty of water, using sunscreen and dressing for the almost-season.
Enjoy your weekend and be safe,
