JOPLIN, Mo. —

Despite what little remains of their church, those at Faith Assembly are meeting their neighbors needs before their own.

"The building, there is really not a whole lot that we can do at this point," Pastor Larry Griffen of Faith Assembly of God said,  "but the entire church body is here working."

"It's amazing how many people want to help," Don Miller with the Assemblies of God said.  "They want to touch this and wanting them to know that they are there for them."

It was easy to see how much simple things like water and a bag of groceries meant.  Across town, help by the truckload is being handed out.

A youth group is helping run this make shift free-store for those who lost eveything.

"It's really hard to imagine, its really sad," volunteer Kristin Parsons said, "but we are out here helping them get backon their feet so its really nice."

A look a the landscape and its easy to see many survivors no longer have a way to where the help.

Some CBC students from Springfield went door to door to see who needs what.

"Just handing out toiltreies, food items, toilet paper, baby supplies, anything and everything we can get out hands on," CBC student, Melissa Pasqualicchio said.  "It's pretty much forgetting about yourself and trying to help out others that dont have anything."
