UPPER LEVEL STORM MOVING OUT OF THE OZARKS
The low clouds and cool, drizzly weather will slow... gradually give way to at least some sunshine late-day. The process may be slow and will likely block quite a bit of sunshine for those East of US 65 today. In those places, expect highs in the upper 50s and low 60s. For those to the West and closer to the Kansas/Oklahoma border may see highs nearing 70º.COOL DOWN FOR TONIGHTWith a clear, dry sky for many parts of the Ozarks tonight... look for lows to dip into the upper 40s and low 50s. Winds should be light and the air considerably drier. Average lows usually fall in the mid to upper 50s this time of the year.FRIDAY WEATHERExpect a clear, dry start early... but clouds will move in as the day goes on. By late day, there's a chance for a few showers late. Most of any rain or storms won't arrive until the late-evening and overnight hours through midday Saturday.Friday should be warmer with highs in the mid 70s.Looking for more info on the Joplin Tornado, relief efforts and breaking news?
