STORMS LOSING PUNCH FOR NOW
A tornado watch continues for parts of the Missouri Ozarks until 4 am. Storms have lost their initial punch we witnessed during Sunday afternoon and evening.Storms will probably flare up again over Oklahoma and Texas Monday, returning the risk of widespread heavy rain to the region.Severe storms may be an additional issue for the Ozarks Monday afternoon and evening.PERIODS OF HEAVY POSSIBLE INTO THE WEEKThe atmosphere is loaded with moisture... and as the parent storm over the Plains moves closer to our homes, we'll be in a better position to receive a heapin' handful of rain. Several inches, in fact. At this point, Tuesday and Wednesday seem like the best chance for periods of heavy, potentially-flooding rain. Stay tuned.
Enjoy your weekend,
