ky3 12 hour forecast24-hour forecastky3 24 hour forecastSatellite & Radarky3 sat radFeels Likeky3 heat indexAllergy Indexky3 allergy indexAlmanacky3 almanacRich moisture and warm temperatures will once again trigger rain and storms today, and some of them could be severe.  Very heavy rain is also possible and flooding may result.  A flash flood watch has been issued for most of the Ozarks because of this threat.  Storms will exit the region tonight with a mostly dry day expected Tuesday.  A strong upper low will be moving our way by late afternoon and evening, and a dry line will erupt with severe storms over Kansas and Oklahoma late Tuesday afternoon.  A significant cap will be over the region to keep us dry until these storms arrive by late in the evening or at night.  Shear will be strong so if storms maintain their strength as they move into the Ozarks severe weather, including tornadoes, will be likely . Wednesday will be wet at times as well before we dry out for the end of the week.
