SPRINGFIELD — A battle between the brothers in blue. Saturday, the Springfield Police Department took on the Joplin P.D. in the first-ever Guardian Bowl at Plaster Sports Complex.
The gridiron grudge-match was a fundraiser for the Greene County 100 Club. The organization helps families of police officers, deputies and firefighters who are killed in the line to duty.
