CAMDENTON, Mo. -- Longtime Camdenton High School Football Coach Bob Shore is retiring. Athletic Director Jeff Whitney said Wednesday morning that he is searching for a new coach.
Shore started his career with the Lakers in 1975. He won five state championships, two state runner-up trophies, had nine undefeated seasons and won 23 district championships. He finishes his career with a record of 367-98-3. Lakers' stadium was named Bob Shore Stadium last August.
Before coming to Camdenton, Shore coached at Jasper and East Newton. He was elected to the Missouri Sports Hall of Fame in 2004.
