FLASH FLOOD WATCH INTO MONDAY

The surface cold front is working through the Ozarks tonight, but it's the layer of air just off the surface of the Earth that will likely channel copious amounts of moisture into the Ozarks and churn it into more rain and thunder clouds Sunday and Monday. Some in South-Central Missouri and North-Central Arkansas may see 1-3" in general, with isolated cases running higher.Plan for more flooding in these areas.
SOGGY END TO THE WEEKEND... & START TO THE WEEK
Another slow moving storm system will channel many waves of weather energy from Southwest to Northeast and over the Ozarks Sunday and Monday. As it does so, we'll have frequent opportunies for moderate to heavy rainfall around places like West Plains and Alton, Mountain Home and Flippin to Harrison... and into Central Arkansas. For many North of Springfield, rainfall amounts, like last time, wil lbe considerably less extreme... if not just considerably less.Rain may end by early Tuesday morning leading toward a bright, sunny day on Wednesday with highs near 70º.
