Railroad history comes alive at Springfield show

SPRINGFIELD, Mo -   The young, and young-at-heart, are climbing aboard for a day of railroading fun and history.  

The Ozarks Model Railroad Association is hosting it's annual Spring event at Springfield Catholic High School on Eastgate Ave.

The show includes model railroad displays, contests, and a swap meet for hobbyists to buy and sell scale trains and train artifacts

The event also includes a home tour, where guests can view model railroad layouts in residences across the city.

The show and swap meet runs from 9:00 am until 3:00pm.  The home tour begins at 4:00pm. Admission to the entire event is $6.00 for adults.  Kids 12 and under are free.
