Four arrested in Baxter County on drugs and weapons charges

BAXTER COUNTY, Ark. — Four people in Baxter County were arrested this week after officers seized a cache of weapons and drugs from the Bayou Resort.

The sheriff says Steven and Tonya Burroughs were arrested Thursday on six felony charges each including meth manufacturing and weapons possession.

Kelvin and Tammy Walde were also arrested. They're both charged with conspiracy to make meth.

Investigators say they seized nearly a dozen long guns during the raid including a semi-automatic rifle, seven handguns, and several hundreds of rounds of ammunition.
