COLUMBIA, Mo. - The University of Missouri is reportedly in contract negotiations with Frank Haith to become the school's next basketball coach.

The Associated Press is quoting a source close to the coaching search saying the University of Miami (FL) head coach has agreed in principle to a deal.  The University of Missouri's Board of Curators is expected to meet tomorrow night to finalize it.

Haith has a 126-94 record in eight seasons at Miami.  He is 40-63 in Atlantic Coach Conference play.  The Hurricanes finished 20-14 in 2010-2011 season, losing in the NIT quarterfinals.  Haith  led Miami to one NCAA Tournament appearance in 2007-2008.

Haith has two years remaining on his current contract.
