SPRINGFIELD — It was a great day to head outdoors, but it was "cooler" underground.
The Springfield Parks Board opened Sequiota Cave up for boat tours Sunday. They were supposed to be held last weekend, but the storms in the area kept the event from happening.
Tour guides also shared facts, history and local myths about Sequiota Cave with the guests. Sequiota Park is located in the 3500 block of South Lone Pine.
